Ocean Hunter
Ocean Hunter Sportfishing welcomes up to 6 anglers of all skill levels for an epic fishing adventure off of Ocean City, Maryland. Depending on the time of year, you can expect to target offshore species such as Tuna (Bluefin, Yellowfin, and Big Eye), Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, White & Blue Marlin, and Tilefish. Inshore, you can wreck fish for Sea Bass and Flounder. No matter your target, Captain Aaron Thomas can customize the right fishing trip for you.
Boat Rates
Offshore Trolling - $2400
- 12 hour trip to our offshore canyons targeting Tuna, Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Tilefish and Swordfish
Offshore Deep Drop Tile - $2200
- 12 hour trip to our canyons deep drop bottom fishing. Main Targets are Golden Tile, Blueline Tile, Blackbelly Rosefish, Barrelfish, Grouper and Seabass.
8 Hour Inshore Wreck - $1200
-Inshore Bottom Fishing around our local reefs and wrecks. We will primarily be targeting Seabass & Flounder on these trips.
Our Boat
‘Ocean Hunter’ is a 36’ Hatteras powered by twin 300 HP Cummins engine, and reaches a comfortable cruising speed of 24 knots. She is outfitted with top-notch Simrad navigational and fish finding electronics to make sure you never miss a bite. Inside, you will find a spacious air-conditioned salon equipped with TV, refrigerator, microwave, twin berth, toilet and shower. The boat also features a flybridge, where you can sight see for topwater fish, dolphins, whales, and sea turtles.
Mate Fee
Our mate only work for tips. We encourage at least an 18% - 20% tip. His day starts long before the trip begins. Please be generous and show you appreciate his hard work.
Fishing Accommodations
Everything you need for a professional fishing experience will be provided, including high quality fishing gear, fighting chair, live and artificial bait, livewell, fishing license, and a first mate. Just bring your lunch, drinks, and a cooler to take home your catch. Ocean Hunter Sportfishing is a family friendly charter, so feel free to bring your kids along for the fun!
